The Weeknd and Playboi Carti’s newest collaboration debuted at number three, making “Timeless” The Weeknd’s highest Hot 100 debut ever. Meanwhile, the summertime hits “Not Like Us” and “Million Dollar Baby” both drop-down while “TGIF” from Glorilla rises back up in a Glorious fashion. 

You Might Catch Kendrick on Tour — But Not at Coachella 

Kendrick Lamar has made 2024 one of his biggest years yet and is about to keep the same energy in 2025. He was officially announced as the performer for next year’s Super Bowl in September and has continued to drop diss records further to put the nail in any rap beef’s coffin. However, fans now wonder what’s next after K. Dot leaves the New Orleans stage. 

We got (potentially) good news and bad news

Bloomberg reported on October 6 that both Kendrick and Rihanna turned down the opportunity to perform at next year’s Coachella. 

Coming off of the hype of a Super Bowl performance for the ages and Rihanna giving her last full concert at a wedding, they were both great picks. While Rihanna reportedly “didn’t need the money or the exposure,” K. Dot’s reason for declining has his fans excited for the future. 

“Lamar is scheduled to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl and then plans a tour of major stadiums,” Bloomberg said, according to “several people familiar with the matter.” His victory lap may extend in 2025 to the Grammys. He reportedly submitted “Not Like Us” along with “Euphoria” for consideration (in categories including Song of the Year).

If Kendrick were to go on tour next year, it would be his first tour since The Big Steppers Tour, which started in June 2022. At one point, the tour was the highest-grossing tour by a rapper as a headlining act, with the 73 shows racking in $110.9 million (Ironically, Drake now holds the title).

Rumor has it that a new Kendrick album is coming soon. TDE artist Devin Malik recently posted on X, “mood cause new k dot album otwwww.” While nothing is confirmed, a stadium tour would be fitting after an album release, even though K Dot. has no shortage of hits to perform.

It would also be the first tour since “Not Like Us” took over the world and led to Drake getting his braids in a bigger bunch. According to fans, though, the potential tour is about much more than that — and hopefully, it'll be announced sooner rather than later.

Is Ye Leaving Bianca Censori and Heading to Tokyo? 

Ever since Ye married architect and model Bianca Censori in December 2022, married life has seemed to be full of bliss, from play dates with the kids to wearing controversial outfits. However, rumors are swirling that West and Censori are on their way to heartbreak (without the 808s). 

Is it happily never after? 

TMZ states, “Ye and Bianca have been telling people around them they split up a few weeks ago, with the Yeezy architect heading down to Australia to spend time with her family since the split.”

Meanwhile, Ye is rumored to be officially moving to Tokyo, which wouldn’t be that surprising of a move. After all, he has been getting inspiration for new music while performing in Asia and even recently announced his next album titled BULLY. 

Despite the rumors, the duo were spotted together in Tokyo on October 8 with Censori all smiles. 

Ye was also spotted eating with Baby Keem at Nigo’s Curry Up restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. Last year, Ye infamously confused a fan account for the real Baby Keem, seeking his help with Vultures. Perhaps the duo were back in the studio working on BULLY.

Nothing has been confirmed yet when it comes to Ye’s relationship status much like the release date of his next album. Nevertheless, it seems like the two are in good spirits despite what other sources may say.
