As reported by Billboard for the week of August 24.

The above chart shows Billboard’s Hot 100 ranking for this week. The Hot 100 ranks songs based on streaming activity, radio airplay audience impressions, and sales data—all measured by Luminate.

Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” has maintained its chart placements from the week before. However, “Million Dollar Baby” has dropped down this week. “It’s Up” from Drake, Young Thug, and 21 Savage has made its way to the Hot 100, debuting at #28.

Travis Scott Has ‘Days Before Rodeo’ and WWE News

Travis Scott has had more side missions than a COD livestream. He is continuing his CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour abroad in Latin America before moving to Australia and New Zealand. He recently pulled up to the first-ever Fanatics Fest in NYC and dropped major announcements about his music and what’s next in the La Flame universe.

Travis Scott talks about Topps, DBR, and WWE

During the two-day festival, Scott was on the move, handing out signed cards to elated fans from his Cactus Jack Chrome Topps collection. He then had a fireside chat with the Fanatics founder and CEO Micheal Rubin and Micheal Strahan, where they talked about marketing and making a brand for themselves. However, the event popped off when Scott announced that his beloved second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, would finally come to streaming services.

He also made an official announcement on his social media, with Scott saying that songs from the vault will also be made available.

“DAYS BEFORE RODEO 10yr ANNIVERSARY BEING CELEBRATED BY FINALLLY RE-RELEASING EVERYWHERE AUGUST 23RD AND MAYBE COUPLE DBR SONGS FROM THAT ERA FROM THE VAULT Travisscott.com more info and shizzzz shsbsbsbsb IM FCKING JUMPING THRU WALLS AH,” he said in his Instagram post.

Merch and vinyl bundles are also available for purchase as well on his website.

Along with dropping the big news, Scott decided to step away from the panel quickly and perform “Butterfly Effect” and “FE!N” for his fans.

The party was nowhere close to being done, though. WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio hit the spotlight to not only announce that Scott will be his newest tag team partner, but that “FE!N” is the official song of Wrestlemania 41 in the Las Vegas area next April. Gifted with a WWE Houston Astros Legacy title belt, Scott joined his screaming fans wearing one of Rey Mysterio’s iconic masks.

This isn’t La Flame’s first time teaming up with the WWE, pulling up to numerous WWE matches, and having his music featured during matches.

Scott has had his fair share of legal woes recently in the ol’ USA and internationally as he continues to spread his message of rage worldwide. Nevertheless, hip-hop heads are excited to see what’s to come from the H-Town rapper.

Has  “Supersoak” Led to the End of Drake and Lil Yachty’s Bromance?

Camera still of Drake and Lil Yachty

Drake and Lil Yachty go way back, from collaborating on “Oprah’s Bank Account” in 2020 to having a “moody conversation” together in 2023. Through all of the ups and downs of the music industry and rap beef, they’ve had each other's back (especially with Yachty coming to Drizzy’s defense in the war against K. Dot). However, fans have been peeping that there may be trouble on the horizon for one of rap’s favorite duos.

The “Supersoak” Drama

The newest collaboration between the two rappers was already causing some controversy due to sampling issues. It was first originally played on a Kai Ceneat stream after Lil Yachty gave Kai the a-okay to premiere it. He addressed fans’ desires for an official version of the song to come out on Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast. The song samples music from social media star Mr. Hotspot.

“[Mr. Hotspot] went down, like, a Christian path…I don’t think we got into money. He was like, ‘No.’ It was crazy. Everyone was like, ‘Are you serious?’” Yachty said on the podcast.

Eventually, Mr. Hotspot gave Drake and Lil Yachty an ultimatum – If they created a kid-friendly and clean version of the song for their younger fans, he would clear the sample.

"It’ll be good for both of their brands … I’m blessed to work with children so we just gotta make it clean for them. We don’t need no children getting whooped cause they said this or that, you understand? It’s the children who really running these views up. So if we make sure both verses clean everybody coming clean, everybody gonna benefit,” Mr. Hotspot said on Instagram Live back in August.

However, fans have still been waiting for official news about the song until, of course, Drake’s messenger boy DJ Akademiks delivered some updates.

Showing a preview of the upcoming music video, DJ Akademiks reported that the song is finally coming out with a music video … but there will be no Lil Yachty on the track.

Even Drizzy’s number one fanboy was confused by Yachty being taken off the song since it was reportedly his original song and was supposed to be on his Concrete project. Since the news dropped, fans peeped that Lil Yachty unfollowed Drake on Instagram—and then refollowed him once fans noticed the cut of social media ties.

Since then, Lil Yachty has refollowed Drake potentially to silence the thousands of fans questioning what’s good with their relationship. Nevertheless, it was a weird move in the first place, and the timing was bad, coinciding with the news that he wouldn’t be on track. Only time will tell what the official release and video are like.
