Song Streams & Revenue
As reported by Hits Daily Double for December 1 to 7.
It’s a new Thursday and a new song revenue chart. As reported by Hits Daily Double, which tracks streaming revenue week over week, the above chart reflects the streaming period from December 1 to 7.
Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me” hit six-figure revenue last week, earning $103K from 22M streams. Doja Cat and Drake are neck-and-neck, with “Agora Hills” making $589 more than “IDGAF” from 126K streams and “Paint The Town Red” making $810 more than “First Person Shooter” from 173K streams.
Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign Announce ‘Vultures’ Rave 2 & Tease Music Video
Looks like Kanye’s multi-stadium listening event has evolved into multi-rave events across the US. The Yzy IG account posted a flyer for a Vultures Rave #2 at a warehouse in Las Vegas. The announcement came hours before the event starts at 11 pm PST, which in Kanye time is 1 am. It’ll likely begin after the album’s release on streaming platforms.
Tickets are on sale for a casual $2,000; there’s no word on a livestream yet. There’s speculation about whether Vultures will be released tonight after it was taken off Apple Music, but the rave is a sign of hope.
An album teaser surfaced, giving a first glimpse at the project's aesthetic. The black and white clips show Kanye and Ty$ recording the album in various places, performing at a club, and traveling. Basically Kanye’s Euro Trip in a music video, but make it ominous.
Kanye launches YEWS
Kanye also rolled out his YEWS (Ye-News?) platform this week. The simplistic site is only available on mobile, with two drop-down menus dubbed “10AM” and “3PM.” Each category shows the headlines of articles related to sports, politics, tech, pop culture, and more. “Doritos Unveils Nacho-Flavored Spirit” and “Rembrandt Painting Sells for $14M” are two of the headlines under “10AM.”
In early October, it was reported that Kanye filed multiple trademark applications for YEWS, including projects and items in banking, TV, music streaming, food and drink, games, clothing, footwear, and more.

New Yeezy Head of Design
Kanye’s first post on X since he was banned from the platform last year was to make a big announcement—naturally. He welcomed Gosha Rubchinskiy as the new YEEZY Head of Design, a move some will find controversial.
Entering the GoshYe era.
A common theme throughout this rollout has been Kanye’s refusal to play into the politics of public image. He’s rejected the construct of cancellation by assembling the Avengers of famously canceled figures and working with them. Chris Brown and Kodak Black at the Vultures Rave were Avengers #1 and #2 for their polarizing presence.
Rubchinskiy, Avengers #3, is a famous streetwear designer whose namesake brand was backed by Comme des Garçons until 2018. He was accused of soliciting nude photos from a 16-year-old boy, which tainted his reputation and business.
He’s been relatively quiet in the fashion industry until now and reportedly contributed to the Vultures’ artwork and merch. It’s unclear if he designed the Vultures merch that leaked earlier this week on the IG account @lesyndromekr, but either way, it gives you an idea of the direction YEEZY is headed.

Lil Yachty Reveals Unknown Beef with Quavo
Once upon a time, in the land of Atlanta, an unknown rapper with red hair was signed to Quality Control Music. But not all the other rappers on the label liked him and a rivalry began. “Quavo used to be so mean to me,” Lil Yachty recalled on the latest episode of his A Safe Place Podcast.
Lil Yachty took a trip down memory lane with Qualy Control founders Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas, to revisit his beef with Quavo in the label's early days.
“It became like a friendly beef. It was like this thing of battling with me against all three Migos when it came to cars, when it came to jewelry, when it came to women, when it came to clothes, everything.”
In Lil Boat math, three is equivalent to one, so anything a Migos member did, he had to do better. “Quavo got a new chain, I had to get a new chain. Offset got a new chain, I get a new chain. TakeOff get a new watch, I would go and get a new watch.”
Lil Yachty says all the artists from QC didn’t like him at first and Quavo used to be mean to him.

What fueled the rivalry for Yachty was he felt like everyone was trying to lil bro him, and matching the luxurious purchases of the Migos was a way to try and prove himself—like buying his seat at the adult’s table.
Even though it was Yachty versus Migos, the real tension was with Quavo. “The most thing I remember was Quavo was mean as shit. Quavo was mean as hell, [but he] came around,” said Yachty. But not all the Migos members were mean, “TakeOff, from the second he met me, was extremely nice and just welcoming with open arms.”
