Lil Durk Faces Even More Legal Trouble
Lil Durk’s 2024 has been nothing short of chaotic. Last October, he was arrested on federal murder-for-hire charges, accused of paying for the attempted killing of rapper Quando Rondo. A month later, he pleaded not guilty to all three charges: murder-for-hire, conspiracy, and firearms offenses.
His trial, initially set for January, was pushed to October due to the sheer volume of evidence—reportedly over 20,000 pages of reports—that prosecutors must review. But that’s not the only legal battle he’s facing.
Quando Rondo’s family wants justice
During the alleged hit on Quando Rondo in August 2022, his cousin Saviay’a Robinson—better known as Lul PAB—was fatally shot. Earlier this month, his mother, Andrea Laquila Robinson, filed a wrongful death lawsuit in a Chicago court, naming Durk, his label OTF, an unnamed management company, and a business manager as defendants.
“The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community…We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need during this difficult time,” attorney Warren Postman (who represents Lul PAB’s mother) stated to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Lil Durk and his team have yet to respond to the suit. Meanwhile, prosecutors continue to link him to other alleged crimes, including the 2022 murder of Stephon Mack—suspected leader of the Smashville faction of the Gangster Disciples. Despite the mounting legal troubles, some fans remain hopeful that Durk will beat the case and return to the spotlight.

A$AP Relli is Still Suing A$AP Rocky
After three intense weeks in court, A$AP Rocky has been found not guilty of two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic weapon. The case stemmed from a November 2021 incident in which his former childhood friend and fellow A$AP Mob member, A$AP Relli, claimed Rocky fired multiple shots at him.
Relli testified in 2023 that the bullets grazed his knuckles, requiring medical treatment back in New York. While Rocky may have won this legal battle and is moving forward with his career, Relli isn’t backing down just yet.
Relli vs. Rocky — Round two
Relli’s civil lawsuit against Rocky, alleging assault, is set to go to trial on January 12, 2026, with the next hearing scheduled for May 28 of this year.
Relli’s lawyer, Melisa Mikhail, is fighting to secure her client this dub, stating that they “intend to continue litigating this case…The standard in a criminal case is much higher than the preponderance of the evidence standard in a civil matter. We still believe that our claims have merit, and we intend on fully litigating them.”
On the other side, Rocky’s civil attorney, James Sargent, has argued that the case should be dismissed. “Mr. Ephron [Relli] testified in the criminal case as to the facts and circumstances… The jury’s acquittal speaks volumes as to how they valued that testimonial evidence,” he said.
Despite how the jury ruled—or how online trolls dragged Relli throughout the trial—he’s still pushing forward in his fight for justice.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky is teasing new music, including a snippet with Metro Boomin, and collaborating with film legends like Spike Lee. Here’s hoping this whole situation gets resolved without another round of courtroom chaos.
