Songs Streams & Revenue

Song streams chart

As reported by Hits Daily Double for the week of April 11 to April 17.

It’s a new week and a new song revenue chart. As reported by Hits Daily Double, which tracks streaming revenue week over week, the above chart reflects the streaming period from April 11 to April 17.

Drake’s “NOKIA” still has the top spot in song revenue as "“luther” from K. Dot and SZA took back second place from BigXThaPlug and Bailey Zimmerman. Meanwhile, K. Dot’s other tracks are picking back up thanks to his record-breaking tour with SZA and The Weeknd and Carti’s collab “Timeless” is also showing that it has replay value.

Now You See DONDA 2, Now You Don’t

DONDA 2

Over three years after its exclusive Stem Player release, Ye finally dropped DONDA 2 on streaming services on April 29 (under a page titled “DONDA” not his official account).

The 18-track project arrived with some updates: a new song called “Mr. Miyagi” featuring Future and Playboi Carti, and the removal of his collab with The Game. Still, he kept the original artwork — and yes, Kim Kardashian’s vocals on “SciFi” are still there, despite their ongoing legal and personal drama.

But just hours later, reports broke that the project might be taken down — and now we know why (it appears to still be available on Spotify, YouTube, and iTunes, depending on your region).

Ye vs. the producers

That same day, Ye took to X to post a screenshot of a text allegedly from longtime collaborator DeAndre “Free” Maiden, accusing him of using beats without permission. The message claimed producers BoogzDaBeast and Brian “AllDay” Miller weren’t paid — or even asked — before their work was included on the release.

“Broken Road” and “530” were two tracks specifically mentioned in the text, which made it clear: this isn’t a sample clearance issue — it’s a full-on unpaid producer situation.

Let’s not forget: Boogz has been working with Ye since he was a teen, and Brian’s been in Ye’s orbit since The College Dropout days. This isn’t some random drama — these are longtime collaborators now allegedly gearing up for legal smoke.

Just a day before DONDA 2’s release, Ye claimed it was fully indie, telling streamer N3on, “This is 100% independent. We in our own studios, our own producers.”

Despite Ye now wanting to “make things right,” it looks like the producers are going to take legal action against the project.

It’s unclear how long the project will remain available in certain regions but this is nothing new, clearances and sample issues have impacted every Ye release in the last few years. Fans are just hoping for music that drops without being removed. The way things are going, we might need to check the court docket before we check the tracklist.

Karrahbooo Calls Out “Little Yachty”

Karrahbooo vs Lil Yachty

On April 30, Karrahbooo hopped on X (formerly Twitter) with a now-deleted post aimed squarely at Lil Yachty—calling him out for manipulative behavior and claiming he’s still keeping her locked in a deal, nearly a year after publicly dropping her from the Concrete Boys collective.

“U have a daughter and u treating women like this is mindblowing,” she wrote. “I know u never see her but still that doesn’t make sense how evil this man is to women (not just me).”

She didn’t stop there. Karrah called out the internet for blindly believing Yachty “just because he’s famous with money,” and went on to dispute some of his biggest claims—namely that she owes him $900K and that he ghostwrote her On the Radar freestyle.

“He said he dropped me—I’m still signed. He said he would show y’all receipts of me owing 900k… where they at? We still waiting. I told him to put it on his kid that he wrote all my songs. He ain’t respond,” she said.

This feud’s been bubbling since August 2024, when Yachty took to IG live to make the alleged claims that Karrah referenced. “We bought a Cartier watch. I gave you that chrome Rolex, bro. You was waiting tables… What are we talking about n****? I changed your motherf****** life,” he said.

Yachty responded in a series of now-deleted posts and, of course, an IG live—his preferred method for addressing beef. He’s denied all her accusations and said “Y’all gotta stop believing shit this weirdo says. Everything she says is a lie.”
