Young Thug and Brian Steel Speak at Emory Law School
After being released from jail last week, Young Thug has slowly been starting to show his face in the rap world again. He posted a video with T.I. on November 5, telling the world he was back. Now, he’s making appearances in the classroom.
Brian Steel made an appearance at Emory Law School in ATL to speak with the students. However, he also called Thugga via Facetime to share some words of inspiration.
“We had a situation that was daunting towards my life and I think the justice system could be bad. You know, sometimes it could be bad, and you gotta always look at it, like, they're there to put us in prison and you guys are here to keep us from prison,” Young Thug said on the phone.
He gave his public flowers to Steel, calling him the “best person possible” while also encouraging the next generation of lawyers.
“I think you guys should become lawyers. I think it's very important to help people out of the situations they're in the best you can. I mean, what side do you wanna be on? You wanna put people in prison for mistakes? Because everybody makes mistakes, we're human. And everybody in this classroom, you always need to know that you are one mistake away,” Jeffery said.
While the verdict isn’t exactly what Steel wanted for his client, he is happy, just like the rest of his fans, to have Thugga back home.

Why is Christian Combs Taking Over Diddy’s Instagram?
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking and racketeering and is currently being held at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Other than posting a birthday message to his daughter Love on October 15, he has not been active on Instagram.
He also has more than two dozen lawsuits filed against him, with the list continuing to grow. However, his kids (specifically Christian (King) Combs) are attempting to make a comeback.
The Combs’ kids takeover
On November 5, Diddy’s kids posted a video all together singing Happy Birthday to their father. According to the caption, the video made Puff Daddy’s day.
The next day, though, Christian Combs decided to announce his own message.
“Yo, wassup y’all? It’s King Combs. And right now, I’m taking over my pops’ Instagram. We gonna be posting videos, spreading good energy, and taking y’all down memory lane of all the positive things he did. So stay tuned and watch this, let’s go. We love you, pops,” Combs said.
So far, music videos for songs like “It’s All About the Benjamins” have been posted with the caption, “My pops motivation to making music is always to make us dance and feel good.” Jr. Combs also brought attention to Diddy’s relationship with Biggie, posting a video of them in the studio from 1994.
The comments are still on (which is more than Drake can say), and the response to the attempted positivity is mixed, with some users not understanding that Diddy isn’t the one behind these posts and others seeing it as a failed attempt.
“Nobody cares about you dude. JUSTICE FOR CASSIE,” IG user Kaylanthomas_ commented on a November 6 post.
Diddy’s trial is currently set for next May, but it seems there will be plenty of throwback pictures and videos to watch on his account until then.
